Community Involvement

We at Dress You Up AZ believe in strong communities.  Our community's most serious social problems include hunger, homelessness, drug addiction, unemployment, and loss of hope which can have a great impact on those around them.  People need help when recovering from such disruptive circumstances.  Dress You Up AZ partners with local charities  that serve the local community to build people back up .  

We provide the hair and makeup for girls in foster care to get their senior pictures, go to prom or for their graduation so they can share the same experiences as their peers.  Their lives have value and we want them to know it and to show it by having memorabilia of them participating in traditional high school past-times.

Women having to escape abusive homes often times have to leave with only what they can carry to start their new lives.  Often times getting a professional headshot to start over is beyond their means and could be required for a new job if an image is requested with their resume or for a professional social media profile.  We provide the hair styling and makeup application for their professional headshots.  

We partner with local professional photographers who donate their services to make these photos happen free of charge.

If you would like to donate since there are some costs associated with these services, (clothing, supplies etc.) please inquire how you can give to support us.  

We like to reward exceptional High School seniors based on merit as well.  If you are a student who has devoted themselves to their education and has a heart to serve your community, please reach out to us to receive a Senior Scholarship Application.  The Senior Scholarship includes free hair, makeup AND free senior portraits for a limited number of applicants.    

By developing your character, serving your community and sacrificing for your education you are going to do great things in this world and we salute you!

We offer a regular 10% discount to all military and veterans for all services.

We offer a special discount to active duty military and veterans who are transitioning to civilian life.  Space can be limited so please inquire about special pricing.

As a veteran owned company, Dress You Up AZ understands the unique challenges facing women as they transition to a civilian life.  

Please let us know if you would like to host an event for a group of women who are wrapping up their final enlistment.  Events can focus on basic makeup application suitable for the civilian workforce, demonstration of hair tools and products and professional hairstyles now that more hairstyling options will be available to you.  Advise will be given for purchasing your new civilian professional "uniform." 

While men will likely not be interested in our hair and makeup services, we can advise them on purchasing their new civilian professional attire and they are welcome at the events.

We offer a Military Scholarship that offers a sliding scale for a limited number of applicants.  The Military Scholarship is merit based as well as need based and is applied to all of our services.  If a professional headshot is required, we will link you up with a photographer that we partner with to offer their services using their own sliding scale.
